On starting at The Ness each individual is tracked and scored by a clinical nurse, giving us an accurate dementia baseline. We will then work on a bespoke treatment and session plan.
Our NHS recommended sessions are run by specialist and trained professionals. We run a combination of cognitive stimulation therapy sessions (creative activities to engage the mind), and full days where we focus on brain health and wellness. Transport options available.
We use an NHS Tool that measures an individual’s function. Members will have access to their individual measurement so they can also track the improved impact of attending The Ness, and understand where an individual is in their journey.

I cannot recommend enough! The group are a lifeline to not just my Mum but my family. They are true professionals but more importantly they’re there for you whenever, they care and quickly become part of the family. Without this team I would not be able to care for my mum at home

I had doubts about whether my husband Syd would be happy to leave me for a few hours but he really took to the staff at The Ness and now happily spends the whole day there. This has given me some precious respite.

The day of my Mum’s diagnosis of Alzheimer’s in May 2020, we found the Ness Hub and it was the best thing that could have happened under the circumstances. They support her to live independently in her own apartment. My brother and I live miles and hours away; the Ness Care Team support us with regular contact and updates.
