No. You do not need a diagnosis to contact or attend The Ness.

You can speak to us if you are concerned about your own memory or worried about someone close to you. We will discuss what has been changing and help identify whether a Ness Memory Hub, community Cognitive Stimulation Therapy programme or another form of support may be suitable.

We understand — dementia is an illness, and there may be times when someone doesn’t feel able to attend due to changes in health, mood or confidence.

We aim to be as flexible and supportive as possible, recognising that each person’s needs can vary from day to day. If this happens, we’ll work with you to find the best way forward.

We do have a cancellation policy, but we always apply this with flexibility and understanding, recognising that every situation is different.
